For the past few years, I have attempted to set goals for myself to aim for. They range from reaching certain levels in live service games, to unlocking a set amount of in-game trophies, to working on the appearance of my in-game worlds.
I have found myself unable to keep on track with these goals that I have set; I have worked out why this is and I will talk about it in this post.
I frequently listen to a podcast called “Law of Attraction Changed My Life” and this episode introduced me to the concept of a “Wheel of Life”, or a “Life Wheel”. It is a simple way to breakdown the aspects of your life that are important to you, so you can evaluate them and identify areas that are imbalanced, or what areas are in need of work.
If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. Truer words have yet to be spoken during the seemingly never-ending lockdowns the UK has been inflicted with! As irritating as they are, I can safely say that’d I’d rather be irritated than dead. I don’t have time for that, I’ve got things to do!
I won’t pretend that it has been smooth sailing throughout, but I have managed to learn quite a lot about myself, my needs, aspirations etc during my time in government grounding.
