Released in 2016, Pokémon Go is an augmented reality mobile game and part of the ever-popular Pokémon franchise.
The app was developed by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and the Pokémon Company.
It is available for Android and iOS devices.

In this game, you explore the real world to capture and battle the titular Pokémon. The ability to participate in raids remotely was added during the 2020 pandemic lock-downs. You could purchase remote raid passes and participate in raid battles remotely.

Recently, Niantic revealed that they are planning on increasing the prices of the raid pass feature, which can involve the purchase of in-game currency to acquire, but is this fair to those who are disabled?
