I’ll start the post with this, this isn’t the end of the challenge. I’ve been visiting family over Christmas, so I haven’t as much time into the game as I usually would.
I would also like to apologise for the quality of the screenshots. The in-game lighting wasn’t great, at the time. That being said, here’s what has been going on in the challenge since the last update!
This update has more going on than the last. Chelsey was given the erratic trait by the randomiser. Which has made this interesting. I also made progress in continuing the challenge; it might start winding down soon. Which I’m a little sad about, I’ve grown fond of it, but until then, here is the progress!
This update has turned out to be significantly shorter than I intended. I’m at the stage in Chelsey’s life-span, where nothing of note tends to happen, for a while, at least. In this post, I’ll share what has happened with Chelsey, what my plans for her will entail, and what’s been happening with her sister.
I have paired Chelsey up with long-time Sims villain, Malmcom Landgraab. His younger version isn’t as intimidating, but he does have the evil personality trait, so I can’t imagine he’ll be a joy to be around. Technically, this isn’t my Sims family’s first venture with a member of a Landgraab. Pricilla married Johnny Zest, who was a member of that family, but got disowned. He’s related to them in the lore, but not via gameplay mechanics, otherwise, this would be weird, but I digress.
The randomiser I used gave Chelsey the Mansion Baron aspiration; so on this basis, the two make a good pair. I tend to make up storylines as I go along, so I’ll probably move her into the Landgraab mansion once they are married, and move the parents out. I can imagine Malcolm would find a way to con his parents out of their home. I’m more than likely going to have Chelsey pursue a career in the medicine field. That way, I can take advantage of the gameplay features introduced in the Get To Work gamepack.
Antoinette (left) & Krysta (right)
While not part of the challenge, I have been investing time in Krysta, as well. She was adopted as a child, and I enjoy her presence within the family. Krysta wants to make, a lot, of friends. So I’ve been trying to do that for her.
She met Antoinette in school, and their relationship started to turn romantic organically. So, I encouraged it. The two are now promised to each other. I have an idea in mind for Krysta outside this challenge her own challenge. Antoinette will be included. I’m on the fence about that, for now. I’m still completing this challenge!
Check back here in a fortnight to see what Chelsey has been up to!
