My experience with Finch! (Not Sponsored)

If you have followed me for any length of time, you’ll know that self-care is something I struggle to maintain. I was browsing Instagram one evening and noticed a cute little advert for the Finch app.

I was immediately drawn to the cute penguin imagery and decided to give the app a try. It’s free to download, so I had nothing to lose.

Responsibility

Since starting my self-development journey, I’ve found myself feeling more frustrated than ever. This is par for the course, but it’s incredibly frustrating, realising your own shortcomings, and the memories/flashbacks that are associated with recovery.

Let’s Talk Mental Health & Progress!

October has been an interesting month for me. It’s become more apparent than ever that I’m putting far too much pressure on myself and in turn, impacting my mental health.

I had grand plans for October; I was going to work on a lot of content. Of course, this didn’t happen because I had taken too much on, and this combined with my usual commitments, I just ended up doing nothing at all.

This included neglecting my needs again, so I needed to address that.

New Self Development Series!

I was gifted a Kindle by a dear friend for my birthday, and I’ve been reading through the self-help books that I had planned to read before my original Kindle broke.

It’s become apparent to me recently that I need to sit and work on myself. I had so much planned for October, but things beyond my control, as well as, me becoming overwhelmed after putting too much on my plate, and this needs addressing.
