New year, new goals!

It’s now 2023, while 2022 wasn’t the worst year I’ve experienced, I’m glad to see the back of it.

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my personal goals for the new year!

Take better care of my physical health

I have been neglecting myself for years. I don’t eat well, I consume carbonated soft drinks like they are going out of fashion, and I am often sedentary.

I’ve been struggling with chronic pain, and fatigue for a while, and I need to take care of my body. I don’t have a diagnosis at the time of this post, but this has still been a wake up call, albeit an unpleasant one!

Find new & fulfilling hobbies

The majority of my hobbies revolve around screen time. In 2023, I’ll be branching out and finding more creative outlets, and hobbies that’ll keep me occupied.

I’ve got ideas, I just need to invest in them. It’ll be a form of art therapy, something that I’m in dire need of.

Focusing on self development

I’ve hidden behind trauma, illness, and mental health for such a long time. While what happened to be will never be my fault, only I can overcome them and move forward.

I know this isn’t going to be easy, I’m expecting it to get emotional, but I’m going into this with an open mind.

Experience new things

Fear has held me back for so long. I won’t lie, I’m terrified, but I want to enjoy life. Not hide from it.

I’ve seen some interesting places, and events, I’d love to go to. I doubt I’ll go to them all, but some are local, so why not?

And on that note, thank you for reading my post!
