Last week wasn’t great. After running errands, I noticed a sharp, stabbing pain in my nose. I brushed it off, but I wound up falling ill.
To top it off, my partner picked up the flu from me, and our routines got thrown out of sync. We’re doing better now, but things are still feeling chaotic for me.

You might have noticed that there was no post last Friday, I’d like to apologise for that. Trying to catchup with a weeks worth of chores, as well as, the usual set of things I have to do during the week got to me.
I tend to write my schedules too vigorously, and I don’t often leave myself much breathing room. I’m working on improving this, however.

Seasonal depression isn’t any fun to deal with, it’s hit me hard, and being ill hasn’t helped me with that.
Basic acts of self-care were thrown out of the window. I don’t even want to tell you how long I went without cleaning myself.
I even went outside with an unwashed face, I hadn’t brushed my teeth, and in clothes that I had slept in previously. I used to be embarrassed by things like this, but now I just want to share my struggles, so someone who might relate to them doesn’t feel alone.

Life Told By Stacey isn’t going anywhere, but there might be times over the next few weeks where content might be delayed, or outright scrapped.
This time of year is always tough for me, so my priority is to survive.
And on that note, thank you for reading my post!
