Goal Setting for the Remainder of 2022!

I think it might be safe to say that I am not alone in saying that a good percentage of the goals I set at the start of 2022 have gone by the way side.
The irony of this post being a day late, and me setting productivity and organisation goals isn’t lost on me, but I’m starting over!

I have been sure to be careful regarding setting goals; I tend to find myself setting a plethora of objectives from different areas of life and then becoming burned out from taking so much on at once.
I have been using an app called Finch for exactly one year today and that has helped me to keep track of what I need to get done during the day.
If I have left a particular item on my to-do list too late into the day to be completed, I can always delay the goal for tomorrow, and add it to the following days list.
You can also set the “goal of the day” in the app; I try to complete that first.

I have now started setting weekly goals for bigger tasks, based on their priority level. These goals go into my to-do list as my goal of the day, unless they can be delegated.

At the time of this post, I have been practicing yoga for 15 days to raise money for Samaritans, a mental health charity.
I am going to continue practicing yoga once the challenge is completed. As the days go on, it is becoming easier to follow routines; I’m hoping that over time, it’ll help.

I have been struggling with chronic pain and fatigue for a while now, those issues combined with my mental health issues have often made life feel unliveable. I am hopeful that becoming less sedentary will help with my struggles.

I’m going to take my goal setting and self-development goals slowly, but intentionally.

And on that note, thank you for reading my post!
