I’m Back!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Things had become overwhelming for me, and I desperately needed to take a step back. This is going to be an update post, so if this isn’t something you want to read, that’s okay!
Here is my latest blog post, I talk about the movie Zombeavers!

Where Have You Been, Stacey?

To keep this as simple as possible, life began to overwhelm me. I just wasn’t able to function in an effective manner. It was affecting my mental health, and I was left with the worst burnout that I’ve experienced.

During the summer, the UK experienced a horrible heatwave. The weather reached temperatures that had never been reached before, and it got the better of me. Keeping my guinea pigs cool was the only thing that mattered during that time.
The heat was unbearable, so many things got put on the back burner.

I have also been struggling with pain in my wrists, knees, and ankles. That made keeping on top of my life commitments more difficult, especially when I could never stick to a routine.

What’s Next for the Blog?

I’m not planning on changing the posting schedule for the blog, for now, at least. So, that’ll be three posts a week, depending on how my wrists feel and how much I have on in my personal life. . I mistakenly assumed that October 1st was on a different day, but I committed to the review anyway. That’s why there was a Saturday post.

At the end of the year I will need to sit down to decide what I’ll be doing with Life Told By Stacey in general. I’m not planning on giving up on it; I just need to work within my means, and what I can do with it given my pains.

At the time of this post, I am in a trauma therapy group, and reading some self-help books to better my routines and how I cope with things beyond my control. I finished reading The Road to Better Habits by Darius Fororoux, and I am currently reading The Courage To Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi.
I’ve taken notes from the former that I have found insightful, and I’ll more than likely talk about the self-help books I’ve read after putting their teachings into practice.

Any blog series that I have will also continue in time. I’m just focused on getting back to some sense of
routine.
