Using the Finch App To Improve My Routines

Daisy snoozing.

It’s no secret that I love this app. I don’t tend to stick to self care apps long, but I’ve yet to miss a day checking in with Daisy!

One of the apps recent updates added “journeys” so, I opted to use the app to help me better my life.

I am not affiliated with Finch in anyway. I’m just another user of the app who swears by it!

Daisy & their friend Zoe!

I’m the type of person who needs routine to function, but at the same time, I tend to give up at the first set back.

I taken a look at what aspects of my life need work, and I’ve narrowed down the more important aspects.

✨ Peekaboo! ✨

I couldn’t think of a catchier name, so I’ve just named it this way. It is my ultimate goal, after all.

I’m not really living my life, I’m just going through the motions, and that needs to change.

I’d like to be able to get up in the morning without feeling like a prop. If that makes sense.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”

The app gives you ideas for how to get started on your own journey, if you want to customise your own, you can do that too!

I found what I wanted to do involved a variety, so I set my own tasks. I’ll be sure to share those once I feel a little more settled in the routine.

I cannot recommend this app enough. It has a lovely Facebook community, and it’s free! (There is a paid service, though)

  1. That’s my finch, Zoe with yours! Maybe I should write something about this app too. It helps me set reminders to make the day easier and so that I get anything done that I want or need to do, and it has great breathing exercises that help with my anxiety. I always look forward to seeing Zoe return from her exploring and the app also has a Discord server in case you didn’t know that yet.
