What I’ve Been Playing – June 2021

Since taking a break, I’ve found myself with a plethora of video game-related content. I’ve still got reviews planned, but I’ve been invested in the other subjects I have had in my head.

Until then, I’ll talk about the games I’ve been playing recently; some of these might or might not be clues to upcoming content!

Red Dead Redemption 2!

Saying that I adore this game would be the understatement of the century! This game means so much to me, it’s beautiful, and Rockstar has nailed the storytelling. It has taught me life lessons and helped me deal with things that troubled me in real life.

I always find myself getting lost within the game world and seeing so many cool things; this is the kind of game that I want to write about. I just don’t want to rush this.

Sonic the Hedgehog! (1991)

This year marks the 30th birthday of a unique character, but my birthday isn’t until August! On the other hand, Sonic also has his 30th birthday coming up, so I replayed the blue blur’s video game debut in honour of that!
Here’s a clip of me saving Sonic from a hot lava bath!

Destiny 2!

The past few seasons of Destiny 2 has had some fantastic storytelling. This current seasons story is something that I am enjoying. Much like Red Dead Redemption 2, I’ve had experiences with the game that have helped me in real life.

I’ll need to sit with the ideas I have and work on a schedule for them.
