This can be a tough time, especially if you’ve recently come out of a long term relationship. I’ve been there myself, so I’ll be sharing tips that helped me through this time.

Keep Yourself Occupied
By giving yourself something to focus on, it’ll have less time to focus on your ex and the icky feelings that feeling alone can bring.
Cleaning, writing, even puzzles have helped me through times like these.

Normally I’d advocate the idea of spending Christmas with others outside your household, but COVID has sadly made that difficult.
We’re lucky to be living in the internet age where we have access to so many digital means of contact, as well as other conventional methods of contact.
Do Anything You Can To Get Through the Day!
I know this might seem like a cop out and I’ve run out of advice, but sometimes there just isn’t any other option than to do this.
Have a lie in, read a book, watch movies all day. The day is yours!
Maybe you might wind up making a new tradition!
